Job Description Job Description Job Title: Ink Blender Job Description Join our production team as an Ink Blender, where you will play a crucial role in the creation of vibrant balloons for various celebrations. This position operates on a 12-hour shift, following a 2-2-3 schedule with alternating weekends. Your primary responsibility will be to mix inks according to client specifications, ensuring perfect color matches. Responsibilities Assist customers with ink room operations. Coordinate job set up for presses. Formulate and blend inks as required. Maintain inventory control standards. Organize inks for press runs. Return inks from press to appropriate area. Perform press-side color matching. Operate color computer. Complete other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Proficiency with fractions. Computer literacy and documentation ability. Experience working with solvent ink is strongly preferred. Color matching ability and knowledge of inks and films preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills. Initiative in problem-solving and troubleshooting. Knowledge of basic computer operations and IMS. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Why Work Here? Shifts are 12 hours long, with a rotating 2-2-3 schedule that includes alternating weekends. A/B Shift operates from 10am or 11am to 10pm or 11pm, while C/D Shift runs from 10pm or 11pm to 10am or 11am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chanhassen, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
