Job Description:
Summary: The Facilities Specialist plays a crucial role in
supporting our purpose of creating lasting value for those we serve
by ensuring our buildings, equipment, and grounds are properly
maintained in order to achieve the goals of our company. This role
is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to
ensure that buildings, equipment, and systems operate efficiently
and safely. This individual will have a strong mechanical aptitude,
attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve
issues across multiple disciplines. This includes prioritizing,
documenting, and supervising building service personnel to actively
manage buildings and grounds maintenance and projects. In addition,
this individual partners with leaders in building planning and
formulation of operating procedures for use in the event of
accidents, fires, or other emergencies. This individual promotes

those we serve. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance
inspections to determine repairs, replacement, or improvements
needed Manages general building and grounds repairs & maintenance
by determining when to use a vendor or when to fix the repair
themselves Diagnose and repair (as certified) mechanical,
electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Supports operational
automated (smart) equipment i.e. Conveyor Systems, Wire Machines,
Speed Pull Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Collaborates and negotiates with vendors to submits bids for
services Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and
repairs Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company
policies Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and special
projects Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
Collaborate with contractors and vendors as needed. Maintain
cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas Manages general
building and grounds repairs & maintenance by determining when to
use a 3rd party or when to fix the repair themselves Works with the
Safety Manager to aid in the safety and security of building
operations and assist IT with end of wire security installation
Provides company communication on facilities and/or facility safety

Requirements/Specifications: High school diploma or equivalent;
technical certification or associate degree preferred 2 years of
experience in general maintenance or a related field Strong
knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Demonstrated computer skills, specifically strong Microsoft Suite
skills Ability to lift 100 lbs. on a frequent basis Demonstrated
experience in OSHA, safety compliance, and safety best practices
preferred Ability to operate lift truck equipment - preferred Work

Description $95,000 - $110,000
