Great Northern Equipment is excited to announce our 2023 Summer Internship Program. The program is designed to kick-start your career and provide real-world experience in your chosen profession. Interns will further develop their skills and knowledge by completing project-based work that addresses real business issues. The program also connects participants with management at various levels of the organization and provides an inside view of our environment and culture. The program structure includes an end-of-program project presentation by the intern to members of the management team. Great Northern Equipment is currently searching for a Digital Marketing intern to join our eCommerce department. You will be assigned specific projects that will not only maximize your potential but add great value to our company!Responsibilities will include: Social MarketingAssist with creating and posting on GNE social media according to the social media schedule topics for Facebook and LinkedIn.Promotional MarketingWork with the sales department to determine the content of the slideshow banners, top categories displayed on the homepage, and top selling items.Work with Designer to create slideshow banners.Assist in identifying additional opportunities for content marketing and promotional marketing on gnedi.com.Search Engine Optimization (SEO)Create SEO body copy for new manufacturers that are added to the website.Create SEO body copy for web product categories.Search Engine MarketingCollaboration in developing a GNE Paid Search Program; develop content and design concepts.Reporting and AnalyticsAssist with project tracking data and analysis.Content MarketingAssist with data integrity tasks.Assist with content enrichment tasks.Adhere to brand and copy standard guidelines.What you can expect from us: 10-week paid summer internship Meaningful project work that will provide value to you and the organization Assigned mentor to work with you one-on-one Interaction with other interns Ability to expand upon your education/knowledge with real-life hands-on career duties and systems use Ability to work on a team, as well as own individual responsibilities Exposure to management team What we are seeking in an intern: Pursuing a marketing, business, or related degree Foundational experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as communication and collaboration software including Teams and JiraExcellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Self-motivated PI208372733
