As an Ecommerce Sample Producer, you will independently own assigned complex business/ campaign categories by managing the lifecycle of the product needs for owned-brand lifestyle, item level, CGI, video and still production. You are responsible to proactively determine and solve for conflicting sample needs. Accountable to know merchant product priorities through source book knowledge, inventory analytics, and launch dates to solve for the conflicting sample needs. Through your own independent thinking, you must provide creative solutions to ensure cost efficiencies during production. It is your role to enable connectivity across channels and external studios in relation to product being shared with shoots leveraging the same samples/product priorities. On set you will be the central resource for all product related information, questions and issues for key partners such as the stylist, producer and merchandising.

Pre-shoot you will contribute appropriate project meetings for assigned business areas. This includes pre-pros, product reviews and Kick Off meetings. You will be accountable for providing pertinent project information and confirm timing/location for Merchandising partners. You must identify potential sample risks within the global supply chain. Independently evaluate and build contingency plan(s) to present the best trade-off decision to mitigate project risk and communicate changes to production team and key partners. The role will require you to be responsible for managing samples, on set sample organization and logistics throughout the duration of each project.

On-set support is required during shoot to perform as the product knowledge expert. You will provide on-set support by determining and enforcing product usage guidelines to cross functional teams (Art director, Stylist, Workshop). Independently owning the decision and direction on sample usage to elevate the guest experience and avoid reshoots that have a cost implication. During the shoot you will ensure connection back to Target.com shopability, and strengthening the guest experience. You will be responsible to create a new grid for each shoot which will capture key data for each shot to allow sharing of the assets across enterprise channels. You will need to continuously update the grid and track for images to ensure they are uploaded in pipeline for global imaging partners and provide alternate image information. Post production requirements are to ensure all samples are returned to Warehouse following best practices. The Sample Producer expectation is to build category/business capabilities, institutional knowledge, and strong partnerships. Lastly you will be responsible for ongoing process assessments and improvements.

About you:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently, drive results, demonstrate flexibility and adapt to change
  • Willing to travel - on set support only. Job would be in office most of the time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs.
