Director of Email Marketing at The Stable, you will be responsible
for planning and developing our overall email marketing strategy,
growing the email team, ensuring that client campaign management
tasks are being followed and email best practices are being
implemented. You will serve as the liaison for our internal teams
and the client team by focusing on providing oversight on execution
and overarching strategy to ensure we are meeting and exceeding our
client's growth goals and objectives. This is an opportunity to

leader.
As a Associate Director of Email
Marketing, you will:
- Be The Stable's resident expert in email marketing; maintain
platform certifications, push for advanced strategic uses of email
platform tactics
- Build a team of email marketing professionals to support The
Stable's clients.
- Lead the partner relationship with our email partners to learn
about new opportunities for our clients to test and learn.
- Assist in the planning and strategy process for our clients and
with new client pitches.
- Execute a customer-first approach to all email and direct-mail
strategy for new customer acquisition, customer upsell/xsell,
customer retention, and customer referral & advocacy
- Manage email and direct mail campaign execution from idea
creation, copywriting, HTML edits, deployment, scheduling,
segmentation, production, automation, A/B testing, and
optimization
- Ongoing program optimization, including structure & targeting
improvements, channel expansion, and improvement of process and
infrastructure.
- Employ a consistent best-practice approach for creating email
and direct mail templates, dynamic content, testing methodologies,
list segmentation, and deliverability
- Pull campaign reports and drive continuous improvement across
email and direct mail KPIs (deliverability, open rates,
click-to-open rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates, and
revenue)
- Develop test methodology and apply data driven techniques to
optimize across all funnel stages - for example: personalization,
frequency testing, messaging testing, offer testing, creative
testing, segmentation / targeting and delivery timing testing
- Partner closely with marketing ops to maintain data hygiene and
automated processes across the sales and marketing tech stack
- Help build The Stable's email marketing processesThe
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience managing mainly eCommerce email
campaigns
- Proficiency with Klaviyo Email and SMS Solutions
- Experience with Listrak, Omnisend, MailChimp, Yotpo, Attentive
and/or other ESP platforms (preferred)
- In depth knowledge of lead nurturing, marketing automation,
and/or web analytics
- Team management experience required
- Detailed understanding of digital media fundamentals and
language
- Proficiency with databases, particularly in data entry,
extraction, report creation, as well as data analysis skill set
with an understanding of cause-effect relationships.
- Agency experience required
- Ability to multitask and identify prioritizations under tight
deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive self-starter, problem-solver, & hyper analyticalAbout
