  • 11408 OVERVIEWCustomer Marketing (CM) is a function within Brand Experience (BX), where team members play a direct role in driving incremental volume at our Priority Retailers through design and execution of customer-centric, local-level marketing and event programs in partnership with our Brand Teams, Sales Teams, and Retailers.Good Measure is the pilot brand of G-Works, an internal startup incubator. G-Works has two goals: 1) Build new brands that help solve the biggest human food problems facing the country today. 2) Test and learn new experimental approaches to help the company innovate how we innovate. Good Measure is a -1.5-year-old brand that is just starting to pilot with major food retailers. For a background on Good Measure, please reference the brand website: https://allingoodmeasure.com/ .We are seeking a Customer Marketing Senior Planner to own shopper marketing plan development, execution, measurement, and real-time pivot recommendations across our key strategic retail partners. Key responsibilities for this role include development of tailored plans for each priority retailer, development of each program of the plan, management of budgets, and execution, measurement and improvement of each plan. It requires interaction with G-Works sales, G-works brand experience, GMI customer marketing and interaction with retailer customer marketing, and agencies. The role provides exposure and learning in the areas of Commerce, Strategy, Planning, External Partner Management, and Matrix Relationship Management.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
    • Lead the planning and execution of Good Measure retailer shopper marketing and retailer ecommerce programs and tactics with internal and external groups
    • Develop shopper marketing and ecommerce plans and presentations
    • Oversee the development, orchestration, execution, measurement and pivots of all shopper marketing programs
    • Oversee creative briefs, timelines, budgets, etc. in support of shopper campaigns
    • Conduct data/event analysis and develop pivot recommendations
    • Attend customer meetings and foster strong working relationships with sales and marketing team members both at General Mills and at retailers
    • Responsible for managing customer marketing budget to achieve business objectives
    • Additional duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
      • Passion for the Good Measure brand, the consumer, and the problem we are trying to solve in the world
      • Desire to work in a startup culture and willingness to roll up your sleeves and crush whatever is needed to get the job done
      • Demonstrated resilience and creative problem solving to overcome any barriers that stand in our way to achieve our brand and business goals
      • Demonstrated mindset of excellence to create differential work that makes a difference in the world but also a learning mindset and agility to pivot based on new evidence and learning
      • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or Business
      • Minimum of 2-3 years of previous marketing/promotions experience
      • Experience in the customer/ shopper marketing space & developing account specific, consumer target specific marketing plans
      • Demonstrated ability to translate insights into powerful marketing programs/platforms
      • Understanding of marketing measurement levers and approaches
      • Understanding of ecommerce and how brands win in that space
      • Proactive leadership in identifying new opportunities and in managing day to day operations
      • Exceptional team and communication skills
      • Ability to travel as needed
      • Ability to work independentlyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
        • New startup experience
        • Experience developing and executing startup customer marketing plans vs. big, established brand plans
        • Experience selling to retail customers
        • Desire to expand and grow with the role as the business grows as more key retailers are added in the future
