Job Description:
Overview Fairview Health Services is looking for an
Administrative Assistant in the Perioperative Services Department
located at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital. This position
supports the Perioperative services Director, Managers, Patient
Care Supervisors (0.6 FTE) as well as the Respiratory Therapy
Department (0.2 FTE). About this position: * 8 hour shifts *
Flexible Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm * 64 hours in two
weeks, with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts. * Benefit

Description: * Requires use of multiple office tools and various
internal software systems * Provides coordination of written and
verbal communication to support day to day operations * Provides
secretarial support including word processing; composing and proof
reading correspondence; presentation and report development;
copies, collates and distributes as required. * Assists in
maintaining databases and associated files and records on a regular
basis according to established procedures * Schedules/coordinates
meetings; appointments; manages calendars for department staff. *
Various administrative tasks Qualifications Required
Qualifications: * One to three years of administrative experience *
1-2 years' experience using Microsoft Office software * Excellent
organizational skills * attention to detail * Strong interpersonal
and communication skills (both verbal and written). * Must have
ability to use independent judgement to perform a wide variety of
tasks in a professional manner Preferred Qualifications: * Previous
Administrative experience in health care * Knowledge of wide
variety of computer programs and office equipment. * Excellent
organizational and leadership skills. * Strong organizational
skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
