Join us and reach your higher purpose at Cargill.Job Purpose and ImpactThe Corporate Development Analyst will support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint venture transactions. In this role, you will support transaction execution, coordinate due diligence, build financial models, provide financial analysis, prepare transaction documents and coordinate with stakeholders. Key AccountabilitiesExecute transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, mergers and minority investments from early stages of the process to completion and post completion according to established precedents and policies.Support merger and acquisition projects including, but not limited to financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, structuring, documentation and process management.Prepare transaction related materials such as internal and external presentations, financial models, valuation analysis, project management materials and transaction documents.Assist in the development of acquisition gameboards aligned with strategic priorities and support the target cultivation and sourcing process through research and analysis.Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experienceExperience with financial modelling capabilities and understanding of finance and accounting principlesStrong valuation knowledge, particularly discounted cash flow analysisExperience leading financial modelling efforts and taking ownership of model inputs and outputsMinimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience in an investment banking, private equity firm, big four merger and acquisition practice or corporate role in a mergers and acquisitions functionInternational work experiencePosition InformationRelocation assistance will not be provided for this position.This position requires to be on site based on business need and flexibility to work on weekends. This position is located in Wayzata, MNThe expected salary for this position is $110,000- 130,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.At Cargill we put people first.
