--- Oversee and manage the corporate accounting team, ensuring that information in the general ledger is maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and operating in a well-controlled manner
--- Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual financial controls audit
--- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
--- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
--- Participate in the implementation of the Company's next generation general ledger to enable transformation of the global accounting function and drive toward future efficiencies in process
--- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
--- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
--- Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year- and quarter-endBasic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
• Typically 15 or more years of relevant financial management experiencePreferred Skills:
  • Ability to define the future path of the Corporate Accounting Team
  • People Management Experience
  • Drive process improvements and automation within the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships and collaborate across functions.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
