SummaryUnder the direction and guidance of the Billing
Manager/Supervisor, the Senior Billing Specialist is responsible
for the processing of client invoices, assisting with the Finance
help desk and phone queue, and additional high level tasks. The
Senior Billing Specialist maintains courteous and professional
contact with attorneys, paralegals and staff, and observes
confidentiality of client matters.Required Education & Experience2
year degree in accounting or equivalent experience.Minimum 4 years
of billing experience.Experience working in a professional services
environment.Preferred Education & ExperienceCollege or business
school preferred.Experience with Elite legal management software
preferred.Law Firm or other professional service industry
experience preferred.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations

essential functions.Accounting (10%)Prepare, obtain approval, and
generate adjustments in billing system for write-downs and
write-offs.Post and reconcile cash receipts.Ensure client discounts
are current, entered in system, and processed correctly.Client
Billing (60%)Prepare and distribute matter unbilled time detail
reports to partners.Review, revise, and edit the approved time
detail reports.Finalize, prepare, and transmit final bills to
clients.Customer Services (20%)Follow up and handle
internal/external client requests, including attorneys and LAAs
(Legal Administrative Assistants).Reporting (8%)Monthly Design,
create, and compile custom Excel or Elite reports for clients per
their billing guidelines.Prepare and mail monthly client
statements.Maintain status reporting of billing progress.General
and Administrative (2%)Create, transmit, and follow up client
electronic e-billing.Performs other duties as

will work in a professional, fast paced office environment that may
