• Work from home - occasional office visits may be required (2 times a month)Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Finance industry. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the general ledger, administering invoices, managing portfolio investment accounts, and balancing deposits. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.Responsibilities:
  • Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
  • Administer invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors and suppliers
  • Manage portfolio investment accounts and ensure accurate and timely reporting of investment performance
  • Balance deposits and ensure accurate and timely recording of all cash transactions
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Provide support to other members of the finance team as neededQualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
    • CPA certification or equivalent
    • 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
    • Experience with general ledger administration, PSP, and NetForum
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
