Job Description Makwa Global, LLC (Makwa) is a Tribal Enterprise
(TE) holding company consisting of five 8(a) and one HubZone
companies focused specifically on federal contracting
opportunities. Our vision is to bring a small business culture back
to the Tribal Entity Super 8(a) government contractors, along with
establishing Makwa as the most recognized and respected Tribal
Enterprise for government agencies. Makwa has state-of-the-art work
center sites, with our headquarters located in Minneapolis,
Minnesota, as well as, several Northern Virginia locations,
Florida, Arizona and OCONUS locales. We anticipate exponential
growth over the next several years both in the US and abroad. We
are looking to add a skilled Accounts Receivable Accountant (AR) to
the finance team, to support both organic growth and growth through
acquisition. The AR Accountant is an integral position within our
finance department and will be responsible for creating and
maintaining accurate and timely financial records for the
organization. This position offers internal growth potential as
well as professional development within a fast-growing
entrepreneurial company. This position requires focus,
intelligence, extreme attention to detail and self-motivation. The
ideal candidate should be a quick learner that is entrepreneurial
and interested in working in a fast-paced environment. This is a
full-time role based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. RESPONSIBILITIES &
DUTIESComplete all Accounts Receivable functions, such as customer
invoicing, order processing, customer payment entry, collections,
revenue posting and review, AR email box monitoring, etc., to
ensure accuracy and timeliness of processing.Complete reporting and
analysis to ensure that the company does not operate at a loss in
these areas by invoicing customers as applicable. Provide direction
to other departments to verify that corrections are made as
necessary.Compile and analyze financial information to prepare and
post general ledger entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain
proper internal controls and record keeping as part of the monthly
close process.Document accounting and control procedures and ensure
adherence to all policies.Work with other departments to ensure
compliance with accounting policies and procedures.Provide
supporting documentation and analytical information for the
company's tax advisors and all external audits.Provide accounting
support for additional acquisitions.Assist in special projects as
needed.Demonstrated ability to exhibit cultural competency and an

others.REQUIRED2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience in
established middle-market companiesBachelor's degree in accounting
or business, or a minor in business, accounting, or finance with
relevant experienceSkilled in the use of enterprise-level
accounting software (such as Unanet), Microsoft Office, and other
business software systemsStrong mathematical, analytical, and
organizational skills and attention to detailPREFERREDExperience
with Unanet accounting softwareAdvanced Microsoft Excel
userExperience with all Microsoft productsSome experience with
Government accounting practicesExperience in multiple currency
