Owned Brands will lead a team responsible for Owned Brands
financial planning & analysis support and take the lead to:
- Set Financial Priorities and Influence Key Business Decisions
- Analyze trends and assess the financial health of the Owned
Brands business through quarterly business reviews designed to
drive action focused on growth and profitability
- Provide financial insights and develop a point of view on
critical business decisions related to executing our Owned Brands
strategy
- Work closely with senior leaders in Owned Brands Sourcing,
Product Operations, Responsible Sourcing & Sustainability, Product
Design & Packaging, Merchandising, and Finance to develop and
execute business strategies to grow sales and expand profit
margins
- Manage and influence Owned Brands expense and resource planning
designed to deliver on our strategy
- Develop Strategic Plans and Long Range Financial Goals
- Play a critical role in the acceleration and growth of Target's
Owned Brands business, partnering with a broad set of
cross-functional leaders to challenge and optimize the operating
model
- Set Owned Brands financial goals based on external and internal
factors and size key strategic building blocks and tactics
- Facilitate long range financial planning processes across the
organization
- Drive Business Case Development and Assess Investment ROI
- Develop business cases for investment decisions such as
responsible sourcing innovations, sustainability, and building a
world-class organization that align with strategic and financial
goals
- Measure and report on investment ROI to evaluate impact of new
strategies
- Influence how to optimize investments in new brands, sourcing,
sustainability, and emerging trends
- Lead, Develop, and Coach a Highly Talented and Motivated team
- Attract, manage, and develop finance talent
- Set priorities, remove obstacles for delivering on objectives,
and ensures the team is focused on providing value-added support
that helps deliver strong financial performance
- Partner across broader finance and accounting teams to drive
business opportunities, identify needed expertise, and serve as a
liaison to other finance stakeholders
- Champion process improvement initiatives across Target's
portfolio of businessJob duties may change at any time due to
business needs.About you:
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience in Finance,
Merchandising, Sourcing, or other related field
- +7 years of business experience, retail experience
preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal
skills
- Strong analytical aptitude and critical thinking skills with
demonstrated results driving critical strategies forward
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment and
manage project deadlines and competing priorities effectively
- Demonstrated leadership skills that showcase the ability to
direct, influence, and coach a team of partners, peers, and direct
reports
- MBA/CPA/MA preferredThis position may be considered for a
Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs.--- A
Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a
blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Remote work
arrangement means the team member works---full-time from home
or---an alternate---location that's not a Target location, does not
have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ
up to 4 times a year.---Work duties cannot be performed outside of
the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise
prescribed by Target. The salary range is :$119,500.00 USD -
$215,100.00 USD. Pay is based on several factors which may include,
but are not limited to education, work experience, certifications,
