Senior Manager as part of the Workforce Administration & Payroll
team. For additional information on this line of business, refer to
the external Careers Site at . In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop team activities related to the maintenance
of complete and accurate records of payroll information
- Engage and influence standards for practices and procedures of
financial controls related to payroll activities
- Identify opportunities for operating procedures with Regulatory
and Compliance guidelines to substantiate audits
- Determine appropriate strategy on payroll team to minimize
legal consequences and impact operations
- Coach resolution approach to organizational objectives
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including
more experienced managers
- Lead team to achieve business objectives
- Interact with internal and external customers
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for
Payroll
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet
business objectives and strategyRequired Qualifications, US:
- 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the
following: HR Operations, Accounting, Payroll, Payroll Tax,
Compliance, or Operational Risk, or equivalent demonstrated through
one or a combination of the following work experience, training,
military experience, education
- 3+ years of Management experience
- 5+ years of payroll and timekeeping systems experience
- Experience with workdayDesired Qualifications:
- Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines,
achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex
environment
- Payroll experience end to end
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and
accuracy
- Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain
effective working relationships
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Job Expectations: Due to a
city-wide mandate in New York City, all individuals who perform
in-person work or interact with the public during business must be
fully vaccinated against COVID-19. At this time, this position
falls under the scope of this mandate. Pay Range$84,000.00 -
$149,400.00 AnnualBenefits
