business.Position Title: -Senior Conversion AnalystPosition Type:
PermanentRole Purpose/ Summary:As a member of the Technical
Services, the Senior Conversion Analyst is responsible for ensuring
all assigned projects are deployed in accordance with the standards
set in the Thomson Reuters's conversion methodology. The Senior
Conversion Analyst should be able to provide leadership and
guidance to less experienced members of the team. The Senior
Conversion Analyst will also contribute to the improvement of the
processes and technologies that facilitate 3E conversions. The idea
Candidate should be excellent team players and able to manage
multiple projects simultaneously. -Primary Responsibilities: - As
part of the Technical Services, the Senior Conversion Analyst is
responsible for ensuring all assigned projects are deployed in
accordance with the standards set in the Thomson Reuters's
conversion methodology. Candidates should possess knowledge of
handling simple to complex data conversions using Microsoft and
proprietary tools. The candidate should be able to take defined
data conversion scope as outlined by our clients as well as work
with other conversion resources to deliver correctly converted
data. The Senior Conversion Analyst should be able to provide
guidance to less experienced members of the team as well as
contribute to the improvement of the processes and technologies
that facilitate data conversions.This role reports to the
Conversion Technical Services Manager and should have the following
skills and experience:7+ years performing and leading data
extractions and data conversion work.Ability to demonstrate
advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.Ability to demonstrate
advanced experience developing TSQL/SQL queries.Understand T-SQL
scripts, Store Procedures, Views and be able to modify and execute
themStrong understand of database systems, such as SQL-based
systems.Experience with ETL tools such as Microsoft Analysis
Services, Informatica, Mulesoft, etc.Experience with data mapping
and reading specifications outlined for data migrations.Ability to
manage multiple data conversions activities simultaneously and
prioritize effectively to ensure on-time Go Lives that meet
timelines.Strong logic and critical-thinking ability; experience
and creativity in troubleshooting data and software problems.In
addition, the Analyst for Conversions,Thinks strategically and
anticipates client needs in relation to solution delivery.Considers
the strategic direction of 3E when providing designs and
consultancy.Directs the resolution of complex or unusual customer
requirements.Be able to understand the impact of decision
made.Contributes to technical documentation, process improvement,
and best practices.Implements best practices for delivering data
conversions.Provides answers to Sales where necessary.Provides
detailed estimates for new business.Communicating goals and
deadlines to team members.Assessing team performance and providing
feedback to employees.Providing teams with information about recent
developments, process changes, etc.Technically mentoring the team
on data conversion best practices both industry and TR
known.Desirable Skills and Experience: Ability to demonstrate
knowledge and experience in the Legal finance sector or similar
financial systems environmentMicrosoft SQL Server Database
Administrator Knowledge.Prior knowledge and awareness of Elite
products, the legal industry, or Financial/Accounting
Systems.Education/ Certifications Required: Educational
requirements: Computer Science/Mathematics or equivalentExperience
in field requirements: Experience in similar role with similar
