Our client is a highly dynamic pre IPO SaaS Tech Start-Up in high trajectory growth. We seek a highly-skilled, hands-on Controller, CPA, big 4 background, and Hypergrowth pre-IPO SaaS Tech start-up company experience. This is a 100% remote opportunity. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in managing the daily GL Accounting operations, solid ASC 606 SaaS Tech experience, SEC reporting, skilled in Audit, driving an accounting team, and interacting daily with the company---s C-Suite. RESPONSIBILITIES Full-cycle GAAP Accounting Professional with 10 years of full-cycle accounting, ASC 606, SOX, IPO/ M & A, and startup Pre-IPO SaaS Tech company experience Hands-on Supervision of SAAS Accounting Operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cash and equity management, SaaS Tech revenue recognition, owning the month-end and quarter-end close process, with a high level of integrity, Adhoc requests from CFO Experienced in technical accounting, ASC 606, ASC 404, SOX, ASC 718 Ensures quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting, managing budgets, trends, forecasts, and provides visibility to C-Suite regarding variances, deviations, and forecasts accuracy Competency to own full cycle month-end close process with proven experience in close optimization, including publish timely monthly financial statements to the C-Suite, reporting on trends, flux, variances, regulatory reporting & research Proficiency in PCB Audit experience to manage schedules & deliverables, knowledge in working with Big 4, with a proven record of executing clean & efficient audits SEC Financial reporting, development & process, 10Q/10K/8K reporting , with ability to develop & execute technical memos and footnotes Experienced in Tax, specifically in long & short term planning for Tax, ability to partner with Big 4 in Adhoc projects with Tax Efficiency in the supervision of Accounting team, including proficiency in scalable leadership experience to oversee & grow current accounting team Ability in managing the monthly budget to actual reports, monitoring SaaS Tech KPI trends, variance analysis to C-Suite Effectively monitors monthly revenue sales, effectively tracks and enforces approval and denial of unique deals and customer success requests; ensures compensation plans are executed on a timely basis Vendor and partner contract review and approval, partner with legal on ad-hoc requests related to contracts Requirements: -- 8 years--- experience in finance and accounting leadership, CPA, Big 4 background, preferred -- 8 years of SaaS and startup experience, including IPO readiness transactional experience and fund raising -- Experience with public company reporting and requirements (worked on IPO or similar) -- Proficiency with NetSuite, Salesforce and Anaplan (or similar) -- MS Office with Excel highly advanced technical skills -- Collaborative team player, nimble & adaptive, thrives in fast-paced SaaS Tech Start up enviornment, highly organized & detailed with ability to prioritize & manage multiple projects
